Oilers vs Ducks
« on: April 02, 2014, 12:40:42 PM »
Ducks had a big comeback win recently but they have lost a few lately, hopefully we can take it to them.

I hope the top line can keep it rolling, Nuge really needed that last game. I was starting to wonder if he gave up on his coach or something.

Keeping a line together for three games in a row would be refreshing and yes I agree RNH needed something to get his game going.

I actually think Larsen could be ok as a forward, he has terrific speed and seems to know how to play defensively as a forward.

That was a bummer, we played pretty well.

Larsen was excellent tonight.

That was a VERY watchable game tonight, we should have won that one. If we just eliminated a few crucial turnovers, we had it. I agree Larsen played out of his mind tonight, the top line was excellent but still have to learn when not to go for it when it isn't there. If we had a second line that could put on 1/2 the pressure the top line did, I think we would be tough to handle for any team. Oh well, they gave it a try tonight.

Hey fellas, how goes it tonight?

I have to say I was very happy with that game, it sucks that we lost but we played pretty darn good. There was a good compete level for a lot of guys tonight and we do have quite a few AHL guys, so thumbs up in my opinion. I am sure there are people who want to hate on the loss (again) but it was a good game against a good team. We need a Steve Ott type guy to take care of guys like Perry on a nightly basis (maybe not Ott but you know what I mean), someone should have drilled Perry a few times for goalie interference.

The people complaining about giving Hall, RNH, Eberle 6 million dollar contracts are going to be eating it in about 2 years, they will look like some of the best deals in the league, especially Hall. You have to put it in perspective, Hall is the highest (tied) scoring left winger in the league, compare him to (right wingers) Ovi who is -36 and makes 9.5 million, Perry 8.6 million, Kessel going to make 8 million next year. I say he's a steal of a deal already.
